Welcome to our little corner of the Internet. Thank you for taking a little time out of your day to stop by our blog! We hope you stay awhile and feel welcome.

Blogging is totally new to us, and quite frankly, it is a tad intimidating. But we thought it would be a great platform to tell you a little more about us, our personal journeys in photography, along with, sharing the photos we take along the way.

A few years back, I (Tracy) was asked a simple question that sparked my interest in this whole "photo thing." Someone asked me "what do you do for a hobby?" I didn't know what to say, totally embarrassed, I shamefully admitted that I didn't have one. Hobbies at that stage in my life consisted of going shopping and painting my nails. Now, don't get me wrong.. I still love those things! I just knew that there was more to my life than going to work at a mundane job and making routine trips to Target. So, the following Christmas I mustered up the courage to ask my parents to help me purchase my first DSLR camera. I fell in love with the art from the moment I heard the shutter click.

One thing I've learned and have shared with people who are also struggling to find their passion or simply just a "hobby", is that sometimes we're given gifts from God the second we're born, and sometimes it takes us years to discover them.

Flash forward three years and I marry THEE man of my dreams (literally and figuratively). My husband, Logan, has a background in media, photography, and video. One of the first things I noticed about him before we started dating was how much cooler his camera was than mine. It's quite crazy that photography can bring two people together (thanks Canon). So this year, after much prayer and many conversations, we decided to collaborate as a husband and wife team under the same name of TracyLynn Photography. We both have different perspectives and ideas, but together, we feel that our differences will be our greatest strength. Logan is great at the business side of things, he's super creative, and comes up with ideas my brain just wouldn't even think of. We feel that we can better serve our clients as we work alongside each other, always motivating and challenging each other to be the very best that we can be.

Life can be such an unexpected, incredible adventure with so many twists and turns. This journey with photography has proven that statement to be so true for us.

So that thing on your heart... that you've always wanted to try, go do it. The world needs more people to do what they love.

-Tracy
